About Cala Millor

Cala Millor, meaning Better Cove was one of the first tourist resorts on the island

The 2km beach of fine sand, the promenade, the flora and fauna and beautiful are some of the reasons visitors return here year after year. From here, you can see the Punta d´Amer to the south and Costa del Pins to the north. The 29km long Via Verde passes through Cala Millor and is great for cycling or hiking. There are over 200 Via Verdes (green routes) in Spain, however, this is the only one in Mallorca. Beginning in Manacor and ending in Artá, the route was a trainline from 1921 to 1977 when it fell into disrepair. Now you will find restored railway stations, picnic areas, along with typical flora and fauna re-planted to make this route as close to nature as you can get. We also deliver and collect from Palma Airport
